Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in hospitality profiles, is currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Cluster HR Manager to join the team of our client, a prestigious hotel group operating multiple properties in Ghent area.
We’re looking for a strategic HR professional who combines hands-on operational expertise with a deep understanding of Belgian labor law. This is a key role with both national and international exposure, working closely with the the group leadership team.
Your Main Responsibilities:
Lead and Deliver the HR Strategy
- Develop and implement a people strategy aligned with local hotel operations and group objectives.
- Provide expert HR support to property leaders on all key topics: recruitment, training, employee relations, and retention.
- Promote a strong employer brand and a positive company culture across all properties.
Drive Social Dialogue and Compliance
- Act as the primary contact for Works Councils, CPPT, and trade union representatives.
- Lead social discussions and negotiations in a transparent, constructive manner.
- Ensure compliance with Belgian labor regulations (PC 302 Horeca) and maintain updated legal knowledge.
Enhance Employee Engagement
- Implement initiatives to boost motivation, well-being, and retention.
- Manage conflict resolution with professionalism and empathy.
- Design tailored training programs to support growth and development.
Manage Performance and Rewards
- Oversee performance management, including reviews, recognition, and improvement plans.
- Ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with industry benchmarks.
- Supervise payroll and HR administration in full compliance with Belgian standards.
Skills Required
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in an HR leadership role, ideally in the hospitality sector and across multiple locations.
- Hospitality background strongly desired
- Strong understanding of Belgian employment law and social dialogue procedures.
- Hands-on experience with payroll management and HR operations.
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and English is required (French is a strong plus).
- A proactive, people-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments.
