Hospitality Talents, a recruitment agency specialized in Hospitality profiles, is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to join the team of our client in Ghent.

Our client is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead the operations of a new convention center and events space in Ghent. This facility will feature a bespoke F&B concept and extensive meeting facilities, designed to cater to corporate and social events. The expected annual turnover is projected to be around 5 million euros.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the guest experience for convention and event clients, ensuring service excellence and seamless coordination.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team focused on guest satisfaction, profit margins, and operational efficiency.
• Implement innovative strategies to maximize event bookings and position the convention center as a premier destination.

• Extensive experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry, specifically in managing high-volume convention and event spaces.
• Strong background in food and beverage (F&B) operations, with a proven ability to create and implement effective F&B concepts.
• Solid experience in meetings and events (M&E) management, with a track record of delivering exceptional service standards.
• Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset to drive vision and purpose.
• Strong experience working with multiple stakeholders, including owners and franchised partners.
